There’s still life in the back catalogue for The Revillos. When the 1980s chart-topping sci-fi futurenauts wanted to travel back in time, we were more than happy to travel with them
In amongst a haul of cardboard boxes, the band found they had a store of unreleased studio and live recordings and a heap of photos – enough for three albums with booklets.
…it just smells that way
This project involved a lot of work recovering and restoring old and damaged photos, some from second or third-generation copies, and a lot of fun with The Revillos’ trademark retro-future style.
This project involved a lot of artworking and constructing designs on the tricky templates for CD Digisleeves
Working with print is always a pleasure, especially for music albums with inner sleeves, booklets and on-body labels as well as the covers. For this project, the CDs were packaged in four-panel Digisleeves and accompanied with saddle-stitched booklets printed four-back-four. Ah! The joys of CMYK colour mark-up, bleed, crop… for our old-school graphic designers, this job was like being a kid in an adventure playground again.
Compendium Of Weird
This album Compendium Of Weird is a mixture of unheard tracks, demos, out-takes and one-off oddball recordings. The album is published on 12in LP and CD with sleeve notes and booklet.

Live From The Orient
In 1985 The Revillos reformed for a tour in Japan which was recorded for a live album that was released but in a classic tale of confabulations, not all of the tracks were on the album and then the original tapes were lost… then found ten years later. The Japanese tour recordings were remixed and issued anew on a 12in LP and CD with an inner sleeve for the LP and a booklet for the CD Digisleeve.

Needless to say, this project was a labour of love. If you are not familiar with The Revillos then we have to advise you your cultural experience is sadly lacking but don’t worry, we can fix this…
